Ingredients

  • 2 cloves garlic
  • ¼ cup butter unsalted, softened
  • 1 lemon zested and thinly sliced
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon pepper
  • 2 tablespoons minced herbs such as parsley, oregano, basil
  • 4 6- ounce white fish fillets such as tilapia, cod or whitefish

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
  • In a small bowl, combine the softened butter, minced garlic, salt, pepper, chopped herbs, and lemon zest until well mixed.
  • Prepare a baking dish by lightly coating it with cooking spray. Arrange the fish fillets in a single layer within the dish.
  • Evenly spread the butter mixture over the top of each fillet, ensuring they are well covered. Place the thin lemon slices on top of the fish.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for approximately 15-20 minutes, or until the fish is opaque and flakes easily with a fork.
