Ingredients

  • 2 ½ cups white grape juice
  • 3 cups water
  • 2 ½ teaspoons freeze-dried strawberry powder
  • 1 teaspoon freeze-dried acai powder
  • ¾ teaspoon green coffee bean extract powder adjust according to package instructions for desired caffeine content
  • 2 teaspoons passion fruit puree add more in ¼ teaspoon increments to adjust flavor if needed
  • Ice

Instructions

  • Begin by creating a slurry: In a small bowl, mix the freeze-dried strawberry powder, acai powder, and green coffee bean extract powder with a few tablespoons of water. Stir until the powders are completely dissolved and form a smooth paste, ensuring there are no lumps.
  • Gradually add the remaining water, stirring continuously to integrate it with the slurry. Next, incorporate the passion fruit puree and white grape juice. For an even consistency, pour the mixture into a glass jar with a lid and shake well to dissolve any remaining powder.
  • Pour the mixture over a glass filled with ice. Garnish with freeze-dried, frozen, or fresh strawberries for an extra touch of flavor and presentation.

Notes

  • Store the refresher in a bottle or pitcher, shaking it before each use.
  • You may need to adjust the water quantity based on the amount of ice you use to achieve your preferred taste.
  • If you find the original Starbucks version too watered down, try adding more strawberry powder or passion fruit puree.
  • When storing any leftovers, omit the extra strawberries and add them with ice just before serving.
  • The color of your refresher may vary depending on the acai powder used.
  • Using a sugar-free passion fruit option will slightly alter the taste, so start with small amounts and adjust to your liking.
  • For a twist on the classic, those who enjoy the pink drink can substitute the water with coconut milk.
