Ingredients

  • 18 ounces white chocolate chips
  • 18 ounces dark chocolate chips semi-sweet or milk chocolate chips can also be used
  • ½ cup crushed candy canes or hard peppermint candies

Instructions

  • Prepare a baking sheet by lining it with parchment paper to ensure easy removal of the finished bark.
  • In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the dark chocolate by heating it for 45 seconds. Stir the chocolate, then continue microwaving in 10-second intervals, stirring after each, until the chocolate is fully melted and smooth. Repeat this process with the white chocolate chips in a separate bowl. Once melted, stir ¼ cup of the crushed peppermint candies into the white chocolate until evenly combined.
  • Pour the melted dark chocolate onto the prepared baking sheet and spread it into an even layer approximately ¼ inch thick using a spatula. Carefully drizzle the white chocolate over the dark chocolate layer and gently spread it to cover the surface, creating a marbled or layered effect.
  • Immediately sprinkle the remaining ¼ cup of crushed peppermint candies over the top for a festive touch and added crunch. Place the baking sheet in the refrigerator and allow the bark to chill for about 10 minutes or until completely hardened.
  • Once set, remove the peppermint bark from the refrigerator and cut it into pieces using a sharp knife. Adjust the sizes to your preference, and enjoy this holiday-inspired treat!
