  • 12 ounces milk of choice
  • 1/2 cup hot water
  • 2 teaspoons matcha powder
  • 2 teaspoons sweetener optional
  • 1 –2 tablespoons hot water

  • Begin by placing the matcha powder into a small mixing bowl or measuring cup. Slowly pour in 1 to 2 tablespoons of hot water and whisk vigorously until the matcha fully dissolves, forming a smooth paste. This step ensures the matcha blends seamlessly without clumps.
  • Next, add the remaining 1/2 cup of hot water to the matcha mixture, stirring well to combine. Transfer this mixture to the refrigerator and allow it to chill for at least 10 minutes, ensuring a refreshing and cool drink.
  • Once chilled, fill a glass with ice cubes. Pour in 3/4 cup of your preferred milk. If you like your latte sweet, add the sweetener at this point and stir to blend.
