Ingredients

  • 1 24- ounce package almond bark broken or chopped
  • 1 24- ounce bag semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 24- ounce bag semi-sweet white chocolate chips
  • 2 16- ounce jars roasted salted peanuts
  • Sprinkles optional

Instructions

  • Begin by layering the ingredients in your crockpot, starting with the peanuts to form the base. Follow with the almond bark pieces, then add the semi-sweet chocolate chips. Create a separate layer using the semi-sweet white chocolate chips, ensuring even distribution.
  • Set the crockpot to low heat, cover, and let the ingredients melt undisturbed for 1 hour. After the first hour, uncover and stir thoroughly to combine the layers. Cover again and cook for an additional 30 minutes, stirring occasionally until the mixture is smooth. If the chocolate hasn't completely melted, cover and cook for an extra 30 minutes as needed.
  • Prepare baking sheets by lining them with parchment or wax paper. Using a spoon, drop small mounds of the chocolate and peanut mixture onto the sheets, leaving about an inch of space between each piece. Immediately sprinkle your desired toppings before the chocolate begins to solidify.
  • Place the trays in the refrigerator for 1 hour to set the candies quickly. Alternatively, leave them at room temperature for about 4 hours until fully hardened. Once set, these sweet and crunchy treats are ready to enjoy or share!

Notes

  • Avoid letting condensation from the crockpot lid drip into the candy mixture when opening the lid, as chocolate and water do not mix well.
  • Yields approximately 60-100 candies, depending on the size of each piece.
  • Store in an airtight container:
    • At room temperature for up to one week.
    • In the refrigerator for up to one month.
