Ingredients

  • 1 cup steamed milk whole or half and half for best results
  • 2 shots espresso about 2 ounces, or substitute with robustly brewed coffee
  • 1/2 ounce vanilla syrup
  • 1/2 ounce toasted marshmallow syrup
  • Whipped cream for topping
  • Drizzle of caramel sauce for garnish
  • Chocolate syrup for additional garnish
  • Optional: Caramel pieces for an extra layer of flavor and crunch

Instructions

  • Prepare the espresso and steam the milk. If you’re using brewed coffee instead of espresso, make sure it’s strong for a rich base flavor, and heat the milk gently on the stove until it’s close to boiling.
  • Combine the brewed espresso (or coffee) with the steamed milk in a heat-safe mug or cup, stirring until smooth and well-blended. Pour in the vanilla and toasted marshmallow syrups, then give it a good stir to evenly incorporate the flavors.
  • Generously top with whipped cream and garnish with a drizzle of caramel sauce, a swirl of chocolate syrup, and sprinkle caramel pieces on top, if you like.
