Preheat your air fryer to 350 degrees Fahrenheit for about 3 minutes. Meanwhile, stack the corn tortillas on a cutting board and cut them into triangular shapes using a knife or a pizza cutter.
Place the tortilla triangles into a zip-top bag, drizzle them with vegetable oil, and season with salt or Cool Ranch seasoning (refer to note below). Seal the bag and gently shake it to ensure each piece is evenly coated with oil and seasoning.
Arrange the seasoned tortilla pieces in a single layer in the air fryer basket. If you have an air fryer rack, use it to create a double layer, allowing you to cook more chips at once. You may need to cook the chips in multiple batches for the best results.
Cook the tortilla chips in the air fryer for 6 to 7 minutes, flipping them halfway through the cooking time to ensure they are evenly crisp. Once done, transfer the chips to a cooling rack. They will become crunchier as they cool.
Store the cooled chips in an airtight container to maintain their crispness for up to 2-3 days.
